The Ghostwriter Project is an action carried out simultaneously by writers, designers and visual artists from around the world. It is a visible/invisible intervention on already existing books. Its goal is to bring attention back to them by proposing a different approach to writing and reading.

The new authors intervened in the books with an invisible ink pen, visible only under UV light. Once completed, the books were collected, marked with a stamp and presented in an exhibition. They were then secretly returned to second-hand bookshops, re-entering their original circulation. 

The action was repeated three times, with around 50 artists. Some of the them joined the project after finding marked books and contacting us.
